Bradley's Zach Andrews Beats the System

Bradley University basketball player Zach Andrews has a unique memory of his first Thanksgiving.

He and one of his sisters stole food from a convenience store so they would have something to eat. Andrews and his siblings spent a year living in a shed behind their grandmothers' house.

He spent 11 years in the California foster care system, but was then inexplicably given back to his mother who was incapable of caring for him.

Thanks to people who loved him, though, Zach Andrews is one of the best players on a dangerous Missouri Valley team.
